There are two japanese flat-work and wall-space terms that I've married to title this. Fukinuki yatai is the so-called "blown-off-roof perspective", a convention used to show interior spaces from above, as the rooms in a building. Fuutai is the name given to a kind of ribbon which hangs alongside a silk-mounted wall-hung work, works which are very fragile. The fuutai are used like antennae, letting you know when to roll up the hanging scroll to protect it from wind.
